The reverse happened to me. I live in Dallas. I was going on a trip with my gf at the time who lived in Nacogdoches. She would have to leave out of Tyler, and I would have to leave out of Dallas. But we wanted to ensure we’d be sitting next to each other on the plane.

To fly from Dallas to Chicago would cost more than to drive to Tyler, fly back to Dallas, and then to Chicago.

Apparently it’s an Convenience Charge.

i know – its freakin’ awesome! its raining hard outside and we were looking for apartments/houses for rent – and it def helped! …although some streets you cant focus on – couldnt find my parents house – but, yeah i found yours!

Seen it. It was posted on the fan forums. Apparently the LA Times have never been known to give Genesis much slack. Phil has been doing “that hammy tambourine dance” since he started fronting the group in ’76.

The funny thing is it reads like a pretty favorable review up until the end, and then you can’t blame the band to cancel on the count of rain. Tony’s keyboards even stopped working.

They played another night (the last night of the tour) at the Hollywood Bowl the next day, and that fared much better.
